Network Engineering Specialist Contract for 6 months with possible extension | Brisbane CBD & Work from Home Join a large Queensland government department as a Network Engineering Specialist , where you will lead the architecture and integration of campus to data centre networking solutions, ensuring scalability and performance Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and support enterprise-scale WAN/LAN network infrastructure, with a focus on Routing & Switching and QoS Integrate AWS and Azure cloud networking capabilities into existing infrastructure Provide expert-level troubleshooting and analysis across complex network environments Deliver cybersecurity solutions within network design, ensuring resilience and compliance Produce and present technical documentation and reports to executive stakeholders Contribute to RFP & RFQ processes, including preparation of technical specifications for network services and equipment You will have: Current CCIE certification with significant hands-on Cisco experience Strong verbal and written communication skills across technical and business audiences Experience with Netskope or similar network security platforms (preferred) Background in Financial Services, Insurance, or Critical Infrastructure sectors (preferred) Expertise in Quality of Service (QoS) and Network Performance Management Familiarity with preparing documentation for vendor engagement and go-to-market strategies Demonstrated experience in reporting and performance monitoring Why apply through Lime Recruitment?
