Part-Time Role with Australia's Ultimate Tool Shop! Total Tools Richlands is looking for a Part-Time Accounts Payable/Receiver Administrator , who has a real passion for tools & trades. This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilise your current skills and experience within a growing and diverse business. The primary purpose of the Accounts Payable/Receiver Administrator position is to provide the highest level of accounting and administration support to enable the store to exceed customer expectations and support meeting the overall store performance levels. What will you be doing? Accounts Payable Daily processing of supplier invoices, credit notes and following up suppliers for outstanding invoices & credit notes. Monitor payment commitments and prepare payments as required to ensure maximum settlement discounts are achieved. Regular review and of Goods Received Not Invoice report and following up suppliers for missing invoices and credit notes for purchase order returns. Regular review of Goods in Transit report and investigate and resolve any issues identified. Liaise with suppliers regarding credit claims, payment queries and order discrepancy. Process any ad-hoc/overhead invoices. Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements. Process and follow up on rebates from suppliers and invoice as per supplier trading terms. Accounts Receivable Process credit account applications for new customers, check trade references and, if applicable, obtain credit checks. Follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely receipts and advise owner/store manager on issues with any debtors. Allocate customer account payments to invoices, and process debtor payments received into the bank. Issue customer statements monthly. Daily reconciliation of bank statement(s). Daily reconciliation and posting of daily Point of Sale takings. Administration Maintain an effective filing system and secure employee documents. Order stationary supplies. Answer calls, draft and send email correspondence, assist with meetings and minute taking. Does this sound like you?
