$79,176 - $86,438 up to 15.4% Superannuation Fairbairn - ACT The Role We are seeking to recruit a professional and experienced Medical Administration Officer for a fantastic opportunity within the Directorate of Recruiting Health Services (DRHS) at Defence Force Recruiting. The position requires an individual with attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a busy environment meet deadlines and prioritise work commitments. In this role, you will: Coordinate and facilitate incoming and outgoing correspondence, between medical teams, recruiting centres, and other departments, including data entry into the Records Management System (Objective) and the Medical Administrative System (MAS). Be accountable for the accurate and timely management of medical submissions including storage, documentation, retrieval and data entry. Provide executive assistance including Diary management (outlook) for Senior Executive member. Ensure the confidentiality and security of health records by complying with privacy standards and protocols. Provide administrative support to the section including board-room bookings, asset maintenance, and perform other duties as directed. About our Team Defence Force Recruiting (DFR) is a public-private collaboration between Defence and a recruiting company and provides recruiting services to the Australian Defence Force in accordance with standards and policies set by the Navy, Army and Air Force. The Defence Recruiting Health Service (DRHS) team is a multidisciplinary health team comprised of medical officers, psychologists and administrative staff. The DRHS team is directly responsible for providing direction to sixteen Defence Force Recruiting Centres to determine applicant's medical suitability for military service. The DRHS team regularly collaborate with Joint Health Command in reviewing and updating the health standards for ADF entry, matching scientific research against the ADF inherent requirements of service to ensure that the entry standards remain relevant. The team investigates and respond to ministerial representations and requests for information from candidates and external stakeholders on entry health standards and procedures.
