This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing small cyber security team, enhancing security infrastructure and ensuring seamless integration across networks and cloud environments. We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to drive security solutions and best practices across a complex financial environment. You will be responsible for managing Privileged Access Management (PAM), DLP (Data Loss Prevention), CyberArk and incident & cyber management. The role requires expertise in cyber security architecture, network configurations and the integration of security measures into various environments, including MS365 E5 and Sentinel. What’s a typical day look like? CyberArk & PAM Implementation – Secure and manage privileged accounts to protect critical financial systems Data Loss Prevention (DLP) – Design and enforce DLP policies to safeguard sensitive investment data Incident & Cyber Management – Proactively monitor, detect and respond to security threats, ensuring swift remediation Cyber Security Architecture – Develop security frameworks and ensure best practices across network, cloud and application environments Network Configurations & Security Integration – Secure network environments and integrate cyber security into funds and investment platforms MS365 E5 & Sentinel – Leverage Microsoft security solutions to enhance monitoring, detection, and threat prevention strategies About you: 5 years experience in Cyber Security Engineer Strong expertise in CyberArk, Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Experience in cyber incident response and threat management Understanding of cyber security architecture and its integration into investment platforms Strong knowledge of network security, configurations and cloud security practices Experience working within funds, investment, or financial services is highly desirable Proficiency with MS365 E5 Security & Sentinel for threat detection and response Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident If you are a Cyber Security Engineer who wants to grow and eventually become the 2IC to the CISO, then we’d love to hear from you!
