Senior Network Engineer/Architect Fully Remote/WFH Senior Network Engineer/Architect - Fully Remote - 6 month initial contract extension Join a critical transformation program as a Senior Network Engineer/ Architect on an initial 6-month contract, with strong potential for extension. You'll play a key role in redesigning enterprise network architecture, implementing secure connectivity, and supporting major data centre migrations This role can be completed fully remote. What You’ll Be Doing: Architect and troubleshoot complex Layer 2/3 networks (routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, redundancy) Configure VPNs (IPSec, SSL/TLS) and firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet) Lead and support data centre technologies (VXLAN, EVPN, spine-leaf, Cisco ACI, VMware NSX) Monitor and optimise using tools like SolarWinds, Wireshark, and NetFlow Support automation initiatives (Python, Ansible, Terraform a plus) Deliver high-quality documentation and assist with project/change management processes What You Bring: Network architecture redesign/transformation Hands-on experience with site-to-site IPSec tunnel setup and troubleshooting End-to-end data center migration experience, including design, test, cutover strategies & implementation Working in high-availability, mission-critical environments Deep knowledge of enterprise networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP/VRRP) Hands-on experience with secure site-to-site VPNs and firewall rule management Previous involvement in network transformation or data centre migration projects Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista platforms Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills Certifications like CCNP/CCIE, JNCIS/P, or VCP-NV are a plus but not essential
