The Opportunity Our Industrial group of professional services and consulting specialists is committed to delivering innovation, sustainability, solution excellence, and successful project outcomes for our clients globally. This is your chance to contribute to critical projects across water and wastewater infrastructure (e.g., pump stations and treatment plants), manufacturing facilities, or energy systems—depending on your area of expertise. Beyond technical delivery, this role offers the chance to build strong client relationships and provide strategic insights while collaborating with a high-performing team in a supportive environment that values fresh thinking and continuous improvement. This position can be based out of our Melbourne, Newcastle or Sydney offices. About You We are seeking experienced Electrical Engineers at an intermediate or senior level who are ready to take the next step in their careers. You will bring a strong background in technical design and project delivery across heavy industrial environments or related sectors such as water/wastewater infrastructure or manufacturing facilities. You will be highly organised with excellent communication skills and capable of driving successful project outcomes for both the business and our clients. Your expertise will span across: Electrical systems design – working across various electrical systems up to 11kV including instrumentation, control system applications, automation design or motor control centres (MCCs). System development – designing single-line diagrams, electrical layouts, cable schedules or instrument loop diagrams depending on your skill set. Project execution – managing end-to-end project delivery including scope definition through to commissioning oversight for both brownfield and greenfield systems. Client engagement – building strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs while delivering practical solutions aligned with their operational goals. Quality assurance – contributing detailed reviews during design phases ensuring compliance with standards/regulations. Leadership potential – mentoring junior engineers (if senior), fostering collaboration within teams while driving technical excellence. A relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering is required along with experience in one or more of the following industries: water/wastewater infrastructure; food & beverage; manufacturing; minerals & metals; forestry; energy/power; or defence.
