About the role This position works in collaboration with academic and professional colleagues to provide effective and efficient laboratory support for the Health & Physical Education programs in School of Education. The position is responsible for the preparation, operation, and maintenance of HPE equipment and materials include transferring of gear for offsite venues, managing inventories, troubleshooting equipment, and providing technical support. The position reports to the HPE Program Coordinator. Key Responsibilities Assist with the coordination, organisation and preparation of resources required for learning and teaching of HPE related activities. Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of equipment/workspaces. Order gear when required. Comply with all other reasonable training and duties as identified by the line manager (or delegate). Comply with University policies and procedures in all aspects of their work and conduct. Qualifications, skills & experience Essential Laboratory experience preferably in tertiary or higher education sectors. Demonstrated proficiency in the operation and maintained of HPE and sports equipment. Well-developed communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, engage and influence stakeholders. Ability to collaborate across multifunctional teams, providing a high level and responsive service. Proven record of preparing high quality documentation with excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Supportive of the Objects of Notre Dame as a Catholic University.
