Administration Support – Environmental Strategy Location: Raymond Terrace Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week Duration: Up to 4 weeks (commencing ASAP) About the Opportunity We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administration Support Officer to assist with the delivery of several key environmental projects. This is a fantastic short-term opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and an interest in environmental work to contribute to important local initiatives. Key Responsibilities Prepare survey consultant briefs for approximately 230 koala survey sites across the LGA, including details such as: Site address and boundaries Indicative survey location Landholder contact details and specific requirements Access points/no-go areas Vegetation mapping and induction requirements Adjacent landholdings Use GIS and Authority systems to: Identify adjacent landholders for drone survey sites Prepare and format landholder notification letters using templates Assist with the preparation and distribution of notification letters Key Requirements Experience with GIS and Authority systems (desirable) Background or qualifications in environmental studies (ideal) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage high volumes of data and correspondence Proficiency in Microsoft Office and template-based letter creation Please contact Yolande White on 02 4978 7777 to learn more about this position.
