Exceptional Solidworks skills, in addition to strong overall CAD knowledge. Highly developed communication (written & verbal) skills. Experienced in NPD, and designing products/projects and following through to completion. Strong at applying engineering calculations and simulations. A hands-on person who enjoys getting involved on the 'shop floor'. Previous experience in a similar industry, exposing you to the relevant codes and standards. A natural leader who enjoys mentoring and coaching. What you will be doing: Creating solutions that meet with the highest standards of functionality, performance and aesthetics. Assisting in leading the development and optimisation of product from concept through to completion. Utilising CAD to design products/projects, while also improving existing designs. Working collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders, including suppliers. Providing coaching, leadership, and mentoring to direct and indirect reports. Ensuring that project requirements, objectives and milestones are being met. Other tasks as defined by business needs.
