We are currently looking for a Maintenance & Gardening Officer to join the friendly team in Kilsyth on a Part-Time 3 day a week basis. As the Maintenance & Gardening Officer you will provide a support service that enhances our customer’s wellbeing in their home. What you will be doing • Providing a range of general maintenance and building maintenance duties – this may include painting, lighting maintenance, gutters, air conditioning, tiling, basic plumbing and other general repairs • Delivering a high level of service to residents, visitors, contractors, and staff • Maintenance of the shared spaces, ensuring a high standard of presentation • General gardening maintenance • Working within health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff, reporting hazards where appropriate About you • Previous maintenance experience. Trade background/qualifications preferred but not essential. • Previous experience in a Retirement Community, Aged Care, or hotel environment advantageous • A service, solution, and preventative approach with strong customer service skills • Computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft suite and asset management/ordering systems • Willing to obtain an NDIS Clearance Check if successful • Availability to work 3 days per week • Fully vaccinated for Influenza and COVID 19 (2 Doses) If you are looking for a rewarding role and a great work environment; apply now to help support our customers to thrive.
