The Role We are looking for a seasoned Platform Engineering Lead with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and cloud migration strategies to lead and deliver end-to-end platform modernization initiatives. You will architect scalable solutions, guide migrations of legacy systems to Azure, and lead a cross-functional engineering team through delivery. Key Responsibilities: Define and enforce platform engineering best practices (e.g., Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, cost optimization). Engage business at senior levels to guide platform integrations and development backlog grooming. Lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud-native platforms on Microsoft Azure. Drive the migration of on-premises workloads and legacy systems to Azure-based infrastructure. Architect solutions using IaaS, PaaS, and containerization technologies like AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Azure App Services, and Terraform/ARM templates. What skills and experience you bring: 8 years of experience in cloud or platform engineering, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role. Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including networking, storage, compute, identity, and security. Proven experience with cloud migration projects, preferably from on-prem to Azure. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates). Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
