You will be required to be able to work autonomously, have strong problem-solving skills and be a great communicator. The role will require you to anticipate needs and make scheduling decisions that make the best use of our training workforce. The goal? To make sure all our classes and various tasks, across all Qualification programs are covered, meeting the learning needs of our students and keeping up the great standards of our organisation. Main responsibilities of the role include: Support the allocation of trainers/tutors to courses/classes/activities Organise covers and replacements as directed Support the Coordinator, Scheduling to allocate additional marking time as required Support the Coordinator, Scheduling to allocate video development projects to training workforce as required Maintain positive working relationships with the trainers/tutors, Coordinators, Team Leaders. About You In your application, let us know if you have these key skills and experience: Skills with Microsoft Applications: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet) Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adopt a flexible approach to work tasks and preparedness to implement changes as the need and opportunity arise Sound organisational and time management skills Knowledge of the Deaf community, language and culture Proven problem-solving abilities Understanding of Windows operating systems, file structures, file formats, and protocols. Demonstrated capacity to work within a team-oriented environment You should also let us know if you have these other great skills: Experience and knowledge of using a Student Management System i.e. aXcelerate and Moodle with particular knowledge of Workflow processes TAE40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment Experience with scheduling software Auslan skills.
