The Department The Marketing Operations team is managed by the Head Marketing Operations and Digital and is comprised of teams that look after events, design, digital and CRM. There are seven members of the team who are based in London but work globally to support the firmwide business plan and the practical implementation of all firmwide, sector initiatives and marketing activity. Description The Role You will support the firm's global design requirements and report to the Senior Graphic Designer and Brand Manager, based in London. As the first member of the Marketing Operations team based in an AWST time zone, you will collaborate closely with the central team to maintain service consistency and adhere closely to brand standards/visual identity, following established procedures and protocols for a seamless global service. Core aspects of the role include, but are not limited to: The design and production of a wide range of print and digital based core marketing materials (brochures, reports, flyers, guides, articles, bulletins, briefings, advertising, infographics/diagrams, maps, event materials, large format banner/exhibition stands, promotional merchandise, posters, flyers, digital signage, social media tiles, videos, internal communications materials, global stationery, contact cards, magazines, graphics and other ad hoc projects as necessary) Maintaining asset libraries containing both staff and sector-based photography. Creating accurate clipping paths and crops. Working with both internal and external print suppliers, to produce materials in a timely manner, and ensuring that deadlines for production are met and to the correct specification. Exploring new creative ideas and opportunities, with innovative design ideas, whilst ensuring that all marketing collateral (external and internal) reflects the firm's brand attributes and conveys key messaging in a professional manner, adhering closely to the HFW Visual Identity Guidelines. Monitoring changing trends in both print and digital spaces, including competitor activity, and make recommendations for developments the firm should make as appropriate. Skills And Experiences Qualification, Key Skills & Experience Required Located in either Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore or Perth At least 2 years' experience in a graphic design role ideally in a professional services environment. A flexible approach to working to support a global organisation on differing time zones. A dynamic self-starter, able to work independently yet collaboratively. Ability to prioritise work and hit deadlines. “Can do” attitude and hands-on approach. Project focused and highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks. Graphic Design qualification or equivalent (preferred). Adobe CC: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat. Additional skills which would be an advantage: Video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro). Motion graphics (Adobe After Effects). Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Website content management experience. An understanding of Web Standards Compliance and Web Accessibly.
