Position Details: Job Title: Rollingstock Engineer Location: Perth, CBD office Key Responsibilities: The selected candidate will be responsible for: Managing rolling stock requirements engineering and assurance processes. Overseeing the design, testing, and commissioning of rolling stock. Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements. Coordinating document reviews, transmittal processes, and approvals. Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, and key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Supporting the inspection, testing, and acceptance of rolling stock before deployment. Preparing and maintaining project status reports, technical documentation, and risk assessments. Required Skills & Experience: The ideal candidate should have: A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification). Strong experience in rolling stock engineering (design, testing, commissioning). In-depth knowledge of railway safety standards, reliability, and performance assessment. Familiarity with systems engineering processes, technical specifications, and compliance assurance. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
