The Position Working as part of our high performing finance team and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the finance inbox, processing invoices through accounts payable and responding to queries from creditors and other stakeholders. You will liaise with other departments and external stakeholders, assisting with financial information requests and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will also have opportunities to assist with other adhoc financial tasks as they arise. Please note this is a casual opportunity with between 8-15 hours per week during business hours. This role will suit an individual looking for flexible work opportunity that can be balanced around study or other life commitments. About You To be successful in the role, the candidate should have clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organisation. We are looking for an individual who learns quickly, is proactive and has a strong attention to detail. An understanding of basic accounting practices is desirable, so this role would suit students studying accounting, finance or other business-related fields. Previous experience in an accounting or data entry role would be beneficial but is not required. Please note that successful applicants will need to complete a National Police Check and may need to obtain a Working With Vulnerable People card (WWVP).
