About the role In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality data solutions and integrations adhering to the company’s (SDLC), within the required timeframe, calling out risks and issues along the way. This includes conducting full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis and design, developing data capture and transformation capabilities, developing analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. You will have the opportunity to help shape this company’s new environment in its journey to the cloud (Azure). This is a permanent role with the client based in Newcastle, offering hybrid work from home options. It will likely require 1 day per week or fortnightly travel to the office. The client is a large regional bank that offers retail banking services to more than half a million Australians. What were looking for : Demonstrated experience in Business Intelligence, Data Lake, Data Replication and Data Warehousing Concepts Extensive experience in implementing, designing & developing data warehousing, ETL and reporting assets from complex and disparate enterprise data sources. Strong aptitude in Transact SQL skills (able to understand and develop advanced queries) and data modelling Strong experience in programming languages such as Python Excellent troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving ETL issues and fine tuning performance Solid knowledge of, and recent experience using the Microsoft SQL Server BI stack up to and including the latest release (MS SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) Solid knowledge of, and recent experience using the Microsoft Azure Data stack Ability to communicate with stakeholders, gather and analyse user requirements to develop solutions according to specifications Outstanding communication skills, with consistent competency in championing collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong capabilities in time management and multi-tasking, delivering against competing priorities under tight timeframes in a mission critical capacity. What’s next?
