Example Role Overview This type of contract typically involves supporting the preparation and execution of technical defence trials, including: Electronic work (approx. 70%): Supporting firing site personnel with the maintenance and improvement of instrumentation infrastructure. Mechanical work (approx. 30%): Assisting with on-site and off-site explosive ordnance (EO) trials, including setup and test preparation. May involve occasional EO handling under supervision. Contractor Coordination: Escorting and coordinating external maintenance contractors operating within secure firing areas. Additional Support: Contributing to other site operations as required by the Task Leader or Group Leader – Weapons Propulsion.
