Warehouse Manager – Chinese Speaking Location: Eastern Creek, NSW Industry: Automotive Logistics Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 Superannuation Language Requirement: Fluent in both English and Mandarin About Our Client : Our client is a reputable company in the automotive logistics sector, currently expanding their warehouse operations. They are seeking a hands-on and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead the daily operations and play a key role in the setup, optimization, and compliance of a high-performing logistics environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and reconciliation. Lead and manage a team comprising warehouse operators, forklift drivers, logistics coordinators, and inventory control staff. Take ownership of warehouse setup and build-up projects, including layout planning, process design, infrastructure coordination, and equipment selection. Develop and standardize warehouse operational procedures, ensuring alignment with relevant policies, safety standards, and insurance requirements. Maintain and improve WMS and inventory systems, ensuring data accuracy and timely stock control. Ensure strict adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) regulations and lead safety culture initiatives across the team. Monitor and analyse warehouse KPIs and service quality, identifying areas for operational efficiency and cost savings. Communicate closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to coordinate smooth logistics operations. Drive continuous improvement in areas such as process optimization, warehouse automation, and space utilization. Support business development initiatives, including cost/resource assessments, new service models, and project evaluations. - Prepare detailed operational and performance reports for senior leadership and contribute to strategic planning. - Provide coaching, performance management, and training for team development and job flexibility. - Handle complex or escalated issues and execute ad-hoc tasks as directed. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse setup or relocation projects, including layout design and implementation. Deep understanding of warehouse compliance, policy frameworks, safety regulations, and insurance-related operations. Strong leadership with excellent communication and team-building skills. Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft Office, and logistics software tools. High attention to detail, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting capabilities. Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken. Must have full Australian working rights.
