HCAP Hydraulic Services prides itself being a hydraulic component repairer providing a wide range of in-house services from our workshop-based North of the River. Our specialty is in Mobile Equipment, Hydraulic Cylinders, Pumps and Valves. We take a proactive approach to ensure that we work closely with our customers and that all components are repaired to the highest of standards utilising OEM specified products and procedures. We are excited to start the recruitment process for an Experienced Mechanical Engineer specialising in Hydraulics design to join our enthusiastic team. Role Summary: This position will be working in a close kit enthusiastic team in our Wangara assisting with the Development of a hydraulics design centre specialising in bulk material handling i.e. stacker/reclaimers, belt and apron feeders, convey belt drives and rapid load out stations. Previous Experience is highly desirable in the following areas. Knowledge of hydraulic power unit used in bulk material handling i.e. stacker/reclaimers, belt and apron feeders, convey belt drives and rapid load out stations. Knowledge and design experience in hydraulic transmission including automotive controllers, traction control and closed loop hydraulic drives. Applications of primary and secondary hydraulic control drives Design experience utilizing large flow logic elements and their control covers. Design experience in hydraulic test benches for hydraulic motors, pumps and cylinders. Experience in oil conditioning and filtration requirements and the selection there of for specific hydraulic equipment. Design experience of hydraulic manifolds and generation of detailed machine drawing Experience in Design, sizing and selection of hydraulic energy storage systems. Previous Experience in design software is highly advantageous for this role, however, is you believe you have what it takes and an eye for detail please do not hesitate to apply for this role.
