The Role Based in beautiful Cooma, this is a rare opportunity to work in a breathtaking location while playing a key role in one of Australia's most ambitious infrastructure projects. As a vital part of the Snowy 2.0 Owners Team, you'll lead the assurance of all drawing and BIM deliverables from our delivery partners—ensuring quality, consistency, and innovation across the project. For those not located locally to Cooma, we provide relocation assistance to get you settled in! Key Responsibilities: BIM System Administration & Assurance – Assure BIM systems and models, ensuring high-quality, compliant digital deliverables across all project phases. Process Development & Implementation – Co-develop BIM processes, data schemas, and standards to support effective design, delivery, and lifecycle information management. Training, Support & Stakeholder Engagement – Provide BIM guidance, training, and support across programs, while aligning stakeholders and service providers around common practices. Innovation & Continuous Improvement – Champion digital engineering innovation, drive adoption of new technologies, and lead reporting on progress, cost, quality, and performance. Collaboration & Integration – Build strong relationships within Snowy Hydro and with external partners to ensure BIM aligns with business goals and supports a collaborative, inclusive culture. You'll have: A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and bring extensive experience in similar roles, ideally within the energy or construction industry. Your strong technical expertise in CAD and BIM processes enables effective communication and coordination across the project lifecycle. You have hands-on experience implementing BIM standards and working with tools such as Revizto, Aconex, Navisworks, and Revit, ideally in collaboration with design consultants and project delivery teams. Experience in the hydro-electricity sector is a bonus. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you work well in diverse, multi-disciplinary environments, can prioritise effectively, and approach tasks with a high level of independence, flexibility, and attention to detail.
