Contracts Administrator — Victoria, Australia

About the role We are currently recruiting 2 x Contract Administrator roles on behalf of our clients. They both are leaders in the plastering, carpentry and commercial cladding spaces. They work with reputable Tier 1 & 2 Builders with a specific focus on apartment towers, schools, hospitals, factories and large office fit outs. 1 x CA role - based in Coburg 3058 This role is focussed on Commercial jobs in the higher end of the Tier 2 and EBA space. 1 x CA role - based in Moorabbin 3189 This role is focussed on Commercial and large scale residential (townhouses) and is NON EBA. Tasks and Responsibilities Arrange for quotations to be sent for individual trades, ensuring competitive pricing and scope alignment and manage variations Assist in defining the scope of works for various trades and project phases. Work closely with Estimators to provide accurate cost to complete reports, helping to track project budget and progress. Manage Requests for Information (RFI's), record meeting minutes, and generate PCG reports to ensure clear communication across the team. Letting & vetting of sub-contractor packages and Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors and stakeholders. Skills and Experience 3-5 years' exp. in a similar contract administration role within the construction industry - Tier 1 or 2 preferable Hold a Construction Management Degree - preferable Solid understanding of cost control, scope definition, and contract documentation. Basic knowledge of estimating and take-offs, with the ability to support project teams. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. Self motivated and able to work in a team environment and drive outcomes. Ability to work well under pressure and enjoy a fast paced environment.
