About the OPPORTUNITY: The Systems Administrator - EUC is responsible for managing and maintaining the software and systems used by end-users within the organization. This role encompasses various tasks including software packaging, endpoint management, virtual desktop presentation, endpoint patching, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) administration. The primary goal is to ensure seamless functionality, security, and optimization of end-user computing environments. This position can be based out of our Adelaide or Melbourne office with flexible work arrangements such at working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid work environment on offer. Key responsibilities include: Develop and maintain software packages for deployment across a range of end-user devices. Test and validate software installations to guarantee reliability and functionality. Manage end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices using Config Manager and MDM Products Configure and maintain endpoint configurations, policies, and security settings. Troubleshoot and resolve endpoint issues promptly to minimize disruptions. Administer virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and virtual networking (NSX-T) environments. Implement patch management processes to ensure endpoints are up-to-date and secure. Schedule and deploy patches and updates efficiently, minimizing downtime. Monitor patch compliance and address any issues or vulnerabilities promptly. Administer MECM infrastructure enabling software updates, software deployments, endpoint policies and more. Create and maintain MECM collections, packages, and deployment plans. Monitor MECM health and performance, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed. Maintain comprehensive documentation of software configurations, policies, and procedures. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively. Participate in project planning and implementation related to end-user computing initiatives. About You: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in end-user computing roles, in particular software packaging, endpoint management, virtual desktops, endpoint patching, MDM and SCCM/MECM. Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and related technologies. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and task optimization. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, CompTIA Mobility, or equivalent, are a plus.
