About this Role We are seeking two proactive individuals to join our dynamic Digital & Technology Solutions (DTS) team. Experienced in either Microsoft Administration, or Azure certified, you will play a vital role in enhancing, securing and scaling our platforms to drive operational excellence and enable strategic outcomes for the university. You’ll directly contribute to Curtin’s mission to deliver exceptional learning and research experiences through leading-edge technology. Key Responsibilities: Administrator/maintain scalable platforms. Oversee account setups, access controls, and permission management. Lead platform maintenance including patching and upgrades. Troubleshoot issues and deliver technical support with a customer-first mindset. Drive system health monitoring and proactive incident response. Collaborate with stakeholders across the university and with external vendors. Create and optimize workflows, scripts, and reports using database tools. Support Curtin’s values around innovation, diversity, and continuous improvement. Selection Criteria: Experienced Microsoft 365 Administrator / Azure Administrator Strong experience administering platforms and cloud technologies. Working knowledge of OS (Linux/Unix), networking, and security. Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases. Demonstrated experience in full-stack operations, scripting, monitoring tools, and Agile ways of working. Clear communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Desirable: ITIL foundation certification. Experience implementing identity and access management solutions using Azure AD, MFA, SSO and conditional Access policies. Experience with orchestration templates and distributed systems. Strategic thinking and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Role Requirements: Current permanent Australian working rights.
