The role: Reporting directly to the Business Manager, you will be the key representative responsible for the coordination of all incoming and outgoing goods via the warehouse to our project locations. This is a full-time role based in Brendale, QLD. Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm The company: Expro Qld has been servicing the South Pacific region with an ever-increasing range of industrial, electrical and mechanical products now for over 35 years. They provide a single source of supply of a vast range of products encompassing hundreds of Australian and overseas manufacturers and thousands of product items. Based in Brendale, Brisbane they provide customers with one point of contact for quotations, order processing and the supply of products and services. Expro knows how to handle export operations, customs procedures, secure packaging, air freight and sea freight logistics exceptionally well. Expro’s business is solely export, devoted totally to supporting our overseas clients. Responsibilities include: Lead and oversee all warehouse operations. Handle daily tasks including receiving, picking, packing, dispatch, stock control, and courier bookings. Ensure goods match orders, are undamaged, and maintain accurate inventory and delivery records. Liaise with clients, the logistics coordinator, and operations staff. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and conduct cycle counts. Occasionally assist with site deliveries. Contribute to achieving project deliverables and overall company performance. To be successful in this role: Valid Forklift licence – essential. Proven ability to manage and optimise warehouse and logistics operations. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling up to 23kg. Proficient in Microsoft Office and modern freight/accounting systems. Self-motivated, practical, and approachable, with strong verbal and written communication. Skilled in relationship building, negotiation, and driving continuous improvement. Creative thinker with a focus on quality, efficiency, and margin enhancement. Confident in handling a range of logistics and shipping documentation. Export and dangerous goods experience highly regarded. Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident or citizen. Sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately).
