The Role: The Innisfail depot is looking for a TUG driver with an MC licence to join the team. Permanent full time Monday to Friday with Saturday overtime available. A role ideally suited to an experience MC Driver that still wants to be behind the wheel but also wishes to be home each night. A key role keeping our depot moving. Duties you can expect with this role include: Driving the Tug around the depot to hook and unhook trailers Reversing B-Doubles and Singles in the yard Coordinating drivers within the yard Refuelling fridge motors Conducting necessary yard checks Communicating effectively via 2-way radio Conducting necessary paperwork as required The candidates we are looking for will have; A current MC drivers’ licence and experience in this licence class, TUG Driving Experience preferred however not necessary as training will be provided Experience transporting chilled and frozen freight highly regarded Experience checking and setting van temperatures, A commitment to workplace health and safety (essential) To be successful for this role applicants must; Pass a Commercial Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test Provide a current traffic print out Be able to meet the physical demands of the position, frequent climbing in & out the Tug What We Offer Career development opportunities in a growing organisation.
