Solicitor (2-4 years PQE) – Construction About the role Our market leading Construction practice is currently seeking a mid-level Solicitor to join our Brisbane team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a collegiate and high performing team advising on some of the country’s most exciting projects. You will work closely with partners Scott Budd and Shannon Etwell . The team provides comprehensive advice on front-end project work, covering risk analysis, project structuring, delivery systems, and contract preparation. They are also highly experienced in construction litigation, handling court proceedings across Australia and international arbitrations. Specialising in drafting and negotiating complex project documents, including PPP deeds, EPC, EPCM, D&C, and construction contracts, the team also offers guidance on project structuring, risk management, contract administration, claims management, and tender analysis, while addressing interface issues between construction, development, and finance documents. This role involves advising on a diverse range of major transactions and issues for some of Australia’s pre-eminent energy, resources and infrastructure companies. We are a close-knit team with a market-leading presence in Brisbane and around Australia. The team advised on major projects like the 2032 Olympics and Inland Rail in Queensland and New South Wales. They worked on the Queens Wharf Resort, several solar and wind farms, and energy projects for APA Group. Additionally, they participated in a large arbitration involving the Ichthys LNG Project, with claims over A$3 billion.
