About Our Emergency Departments Eastern Health Emergency Departments – based at Box Hill, Maroondah & Angliss Hospitals care for approximately 164,000 patients per year, averaging 450 presentations per day across our three sites. Presentations include critically unwell patients requiring immediate stabilisation as well as a considerable proportion of paediatric presentations. Departmental resources include 148 treatment spaces, including 9 resuscitation bays, dedicated paediatric and fast track treatment areas, and 74 beds across our Short Stay Units and paediatric areas. The Administrative Services team within our Emergency Departments provide all administrative support to the Emergency Department and as the only 24/7 administrative services support within our hospitals, also undertakes other services including inpatient ward admissions (direct admissions), transfers and discharges for the whole of our hospitals after hours. This position will provide you with the opportunity to explore and develop further your administrative skills and expertise across three separate hospital sites. It will also offer you an opportunity for professional growth working as part of a large multi-disciplinary team.
