We are seeking a reliable and motivated Yard Hand | Forklift Operator to join our client’s team, a leading supplier of the building industry, based in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. This role offers you the chance to be part of a dynamic environment while enhancing your skills in materials handling. Key Responsibilities: Operate forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently to move materials within the yard. Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring that all goods are handled with care. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Put away incoming stock and prepare and pack outgoing orders. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in a timber/building supplies yard hand or similar role is preferred, but not mandatory. Valid forklift license is essential for this position. Strong work ethic and team player attitude. Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy items safely.
