We’re currently seeking a talented Web Administrator to support the development, maintenance, and optimisation of our web systems. Key Responsibilities As a Web Administrator, you will: Manage and maintain company websites and web systems, ensuring uptime, security, and performance. Monitor website performance, accessibility, SEO, and user experience. Administer hosting environments, domain management, DNS records, and web server configurations. Ensure regular backups, implement security protocols, and maintain data integrity. Manage and update website content using WordPress or other CMS platforms. Support minor web development tasks using React, Node.js, and Firebase where required. Collaborate with designers using Figma or Adobe XD to bring UI/UX concepts to life. Deploy web platforms to Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments. Conduct regular QA testing and website audits to ensure compliance with best practices. Troubleshoot technical issues related to hosting, domains, DNS, or web servers. Skills and Experience To succeed in this role, you’ll need: A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience). At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a web administrator or in a similar technical support role. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with modern frameworks such as React and Node.js. Experience with cPanel, FTP, DNS management, and server administration. Familiarity with Firebase, Firestore, and API integrations. Working knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and website performance optimisation. Ability to problem-solve and work autonomously within a collaborative team. Strong communication and time-management skills. Desirable (Not Essential) Experience with PHP, MySQL, and basic scripting for website maintenance. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
