Contract Administrator | South Eastern Suburbs Location: South Eastern Suburbs, Melbourne Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Sector: Commercial Construction – Retail Projects Our client, an expert in the Design and Construction of fit-out, refurbishment and retail projects is currently looking for an experienced and ambitious Contract Administrator to joing their team. With over 30 years spent delivering the highest quality projects in their field, they are busy with an exciting and strong pipeline of projects around Melbourne Metro. The Role: As a Contract Administrator, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion. You will be based on site , working closely with both the Project and Site Manager to assist with a very exciting project set to span over 2 years. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and manage contracts and subcontracts Administer project budgets, cost tracking, and financial reporting Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors Assist in procurement and tender processes Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation Manage variations, scopes, progress claims, and contract negotiations Ideal Candidate: Minimum 3–5 years experience as a Contract Administrator in commercial construction Prior experience in the retail sector is desirable, though not essential Ambitious and hungry to progress in to a Project Management position long-term Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Based in or willing to travel regularly to the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne Proficiency with Jobpac is absolutley essential Why Join Us?
