Administration Officer — Coburg, Moreland Area

John Fawkner Private Hospital is an administration officer to join our team on a part time basis in our consulting suites. You will play a key role working within our supportive team to ensure our patients have a positive experience during their care. This is a part time role - 3 days per week working shifts (Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays) no weekend work! As an administration officer - Consulting Suites your responsibilities will include: · Perform a broad range of administration duties including: · Manage a busy reception desk and answering and redirecting calls · Support our Doctors and patients across our consulting suites · Organise appointments and prepare admission paperwork · Daily and monthly reports · Patient Billing and Receipting/Medicare rebate · Conduct follow up requests and make reminder calls for visits · Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records · Coordinate with staff from other departments · Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry Essential Criteria: · Authority to Work in Australia · 1-year administration experience, medical reception/administration desirable · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills · Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment · Strong attention to detail · Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) Why Healthscope?
