As a result of Georgiou’s significant growth, we are seeking an experienced Services Engineer to join our project-based construction team. The successful candidate will have prior civil construction experience and will display strong technical skills in all elements of civil engineering. You will be trusted to: • Work with the delivery team, by assisting with technical and services related deliverables and regularly check in with the Section Leads to report on progress or any current issues. • Engage with the services consultants and subcontractors in both Construct and Design and Construct delivery to manage and coordinate the services delivery elements of the project. • Manage works in accordance with the Project Management Plan and client specifications. • Prepare coordinated commissioning plans, matrices, programs, or schedules to assist with the delivering a methodical and logical commissioning program. • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members. • Conduct and participate in site meetings (toolboxes, pre-start, inductions and other health and safety requirements). • Have a strong focus on personal and team safety through our "Safety is My Way" initiative. What you're good at: • Demonstrated experience working as a Services Engineer in the construction industry that involves inground services and commercial building infrastructure which includes but not limited to mechanical and electrical services, CCTV network, communications and cabling, public address and voice alarm, alarms, SCADA, fire (external & internal), hydraulics (external & internal), permanent wayfinding and signage. • Previous experience in a construction position delivering services packages through construction and commissioning phases. • Strong ability to monitor a section of work and co-ordinate resources to deliver on time and budget, while upholding a high-quality standard. • Be able to show competence in planning projects and recording progress. • Excellent safety record and experience in coordinating and/or running toolbox meetings, pre-start meetings, site inductions and a demonstrated commitment to HSEQ practices. • Proven experience in managing a control system for labour, plant and materials. • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills which enable you to assist in resolution of client and key stakeholder's concerns. • Tertiary education within the field of building and inground services that relates to but not limited to a degree or trade equivalent in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
