Our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator, this company will provide you with the challenge you crave coupled with stability and a solid team environment that is growing! Your drive, determination and love of everything project orientated will see you with a successful and highly satisfying role working on a variety of projects, both small and large. Average project value you will work on are in the $5m-$20m range where you will run from start to finish. Being an SME, you will work across areas such as estimating, tendering, take offs, compliance and document control, RFIs and whatever needs to be done whilst working closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager or Site Manager! Duties include but are not limited to: Provide Contracts Admin support across different projects working closely with Senior CA, Project Manager, Construction Manager or Site Manager Coordinate and update project documentation Prepare Contracts/Subcontractor Agreements & Purchase Orders Prepare Scope of Works Assist with preparation of tenders Estimating and detailed take offs File set up and management of files Document Control and transmittals Process documentation for approvals RFI’s Process subcontractors Claims and process variations Prepare Progress Claims, EOT's and variations Post construction ensure compliance documentation complete Liaise with clients, contractors and building strong relationships within internal staff members/Project Managers Database maintenance Keep track of relevant licences, insurances and the like for contractors Ad hoc administrative tasks The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience working within Project/Contracts Administration Preferably you will have experience in construction or similar Experience using PM tools (eg MS Project, Premier Construct, Cubit Estimating or similar) You are organised and are genuinely interested in understanding how projects work and their lifecycle You are also interested in getting involved in everything including tendering, estimating, etc! High attention to detail critical Understanding of the structure of the NCC & Australian Standards Process driven Strong ability to build relationships both internally and externally to enable you to get the information you require to enable you to do a great job You love problem solving and are pro-active Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines Ability to handle difficult conversations The benefits for working within this organisation are: A genuine down to earth team and management!
