What You’ll Be Doing: Designing and developing high-quality, cloud-based software using PHP8, MySQL 8, and related technologies. Leading the development of critical features with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability. Contributing to architectural decisions, engaging in proof-of-concepts, and owning the development of key application components. Collaborating with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver intuitive, reliable user experiences. Mentoring junior developers and promoting a strong engineering culture across the team. What You’ll Bring: Solid experience in developing and maintaining complex PHP applications, with a focus on clean architecture and performance. Strong knowledge of MySQL 8, including indexing, optimisation, and performance tuning. Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries including Knockout.js, jQuery, and RequireJS. Familiarity with dependency management using Composer. Experience building real-time features with WebSockets. Exposure to microservices or service-oriented architectures.
