Forklift Operator — Bega, Bega Valley

The Role Our Lagoon Street site is situated in the Bega Valley Shire and is the original site of Bega Cheese. Located on the beautiful Sapphire coast, far south coast of NSW, Lagoon Street is still producing Australia's favourite cheese products – cheddar cheese, string cheese as well as butter. As a Forklift Operator, you will safely operate counterbalance and high-reach forklifts in the warehouse and cool room. Your role will support daily tasks in the Maturation department and contribute to smooth operations. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to receive training and development that can help you advance to a Senior Store Person on-site. The successful candidate must be flexible and available to work Monday to Friday, starting at 6 AM and finishing at 2 PM. Responsibilities Load and unload trucks based on delivery and dispatch schedules. Accurately pick and pull stock from the racking systems. Create and process pallet transfers. Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts. Adhere to company safety and quality policies and procedures. About you Experience with high-reach forklifts in a manufacturing, warehouse, or cool room environment is desired A valid Forklift license Basic Data entry and computer literacy skills Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn Being a team player is essential Bega Group Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
