Contribute to our mission, Technology for Life. Reporting into the Warehouse Manager, the new Warehouse Storeperson (“WS”) will be based at our Notting Hill head office. The WS is to play a key role in receipt, picking, and safely packing stock as guided in the warehouse. There will be training, ongoing support and a commitment to further development. Key responsibilities include: Receipt stock against supplier paperwork and store accurately in a timely manner; Ensure stock is correctly rotated and always dispatched on a FIFO basis, Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and in a timely manner; Lead by example with careful usage of forklifts, traffic management, and stock handling; Assist with stocktakes as required; Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations, and; Always ensure a safety-first approach. The ideal candidate will be equipped with the following attributes: 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment; Current forklift license or willing to obtain in the short-term; Proficiency Microsoft Office applications, and preferably SAP too; Ability to lift weights whilst being aware of OH&S requirements; Comfortable working well both in an autonomous and team setting; Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment; Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn; Exemplary understanding of compliance rules, with a proactive mindset and the ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards, and; Excellent eye for detail and problem solving, interpersonal, communication, organisational, task management skills.
