Employment Type: Part-Time Roster: 2 days on/5 days off - FIFO ex Perth, with shifts commencing Monday morning and concluding Tuesday afternoon. Fortescue is offering a unique and flexible opportunity for skilled Excavator Operators looking to continue their mining careers while balancing family or other personal commitments. With a roster requiring only one night on-site and a two-day commitment, this role is perfect for parents, caregivers, or those wanting a shorter shift while still contributing to Fortescue’s success. We are looking for experienced Excavator Operators who have worked with some or all of the following equipment in a mining environment: Liebherr 9400, Liebherr 996, CAT6040, CAT6060 CAT D10T This is a fantastic chance to stay connected to the mining industry while keeping your personal priorities in balance. Maintain assets to operational capacity. Demonstrate behaviour that aligns with Fortescue values. Comply with Zero Harm principles on a daily basis. Qualifications and Experience Ability to proficiently operate all or some of the listed machinery. WA Class C Driver's License. Mobile equipment operation in the mining industry is essential. Ability to read mine plans. Knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection and OHS Act Regs. Communication and interpersonal skills - two-way operation.
