About the role Calvary Graphic Designers are pivotal in creating and updating a diverse range of design materials for use across internal and external environments, as part of a purpose-driven, and encouraging team of designers dedicated to making a genuine impact. In this permanent full-time in-house role, you will work in a hybrid environment that features set yet flexible hours designed to help you maintain a work-life balance. You will also participate in a streamlined workflow with a sustainable workload that takes projects from clear briefs to refined final artwork. Working closely with the customer and communications team, and stakeholders from Calvary’s hospitals, residential care, retirement communities and home care, you will ensure our refreshed corporate identity is represented accurately. As Brand Ambassadors, your work is not just about great design best practice—it’s about delivering meaningful fit-for-purpose visual communication that improves lives while upholding Calvary’s mission, vision, and values. Your main duties will include: Create and optimise digital and print-ready assets, including but not limited to digital communications, creative event campaigns, document branding, website images, EDMs, social media content, infographics, brochures, flyers, banners, advertisements, and outdoor signage. The majority of your time you will be applying the corporate brand to designed media (artworking), while also producing a number of large creative campaigns throughout the year. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to support design projects from briefing to final delivery. Implement best practice and research to evolve Calvary’s branding collateral, and continually improve the way we work. About you Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communications or similar Demonstrated experience in creative graphic design skills with a portfolio of digital and print (3 years) Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop. Experience with MS Word and MS Powerpoint. Experience with Canva desired, but not essential Self-motivated, positive attitude with a high degree of initiative and ability to work autonomously Strong understanding of layout composition, visual design principles and latest technologies, with the ability to apply them to marketing communications Please note that you will need to provide a link to your design portfolio and attach it together with your application.
