Job description Role Opportunity Structural Engineer - Intermediate Level to join a growing multi discipline engineering consultant servicing the mining/minerals processing and heavy industry sectors. Benefits Contract and permanent staff considered Perth CBD office based with regular site visits Friendly and experienced team Working on a variety of mining/minerals processing plant projects Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent). 38 years of structural engineering experience, ideally in mining and mineral processing projects. Proficient in SpaceGass; Experience working with engineering consultants Strong understanding of structural design principles and materials (steel and concrete). Familiarity with Australian Standards (e.g., AS 4100, AS 3600, AS 1170). Demonstrated experience conducting site visits and inspections. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Duties & Responsibilities Perform structural design calculations to support brownfield mining and mineral processing projects. Utilise SpaceGass and other engineering tools for structural analysis and design. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing structures and gather necessary field data. Develop and review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and reports. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions. Ensure adherence to relevant Australian Standards and mining industry safety regulations. Participate in project planning, design reviews, and construction support activities.
