About the role The Social Work Grade 1 role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of specialist social work assessment & interventions to assist individual consumers to achieve the highest level of independent function, leading to successful community integration and improved quality of life outcomes for consumers. About you Essential Holds a degree qualification in social work that has been approved by the Australian Association of Social Workers for membership as a social worker. Eligible for registration with the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW). A full driver’s licence. A satisfactory police check is required prior to appointment. A strong commitment to high quality care. The ability to work as part of a diverse team. Excellent communication and organisational skills Desirable Knowledge of and experience working with the Collaborative Recovery Model. Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
