Full time, continuing role An excellent opportunity to harness leadership and administration skills Base Salary from $99,455 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Faculty Services team within the Academic Registrar, Education Portfolio is looking for a highly motivated and self-driven Senior Administration Officer to join their high performing team. Utilising your strong leadership and administrative experience, you will support management of a portfolio team and ensure successful delivery of student and faculty services focussing on quality, timeliness and accuracy. The Senior Administration Officer plays an essential role in balancing operational efficiency and effectiveness while being strongly motivated to deliver a positive student experience. In addition, you will support a Team Leader in appropriate training and development of team members including contributing to individual and team work plans, establishing, monitoring, and reporting on performance measures aligned to our team culture Essential to this role is the ability to successfully engage and work effectively with a range of diverse stakeholders across Faculties and University Schools to deliver outcomes that reflect our shared goals. You will tap into your extensive administrative experience and judgment, to analyse and resolve complex matters and to provide advice on policy and procedures for the delivery and improvement of services delivered. Your key responsibilities will be to: manage the delivery of daily activities and services that form part of the teams’ work, including process and tool management, compliance reporting, communications, knowledge management and process performance and improvement contribute detailed input into analysis and review of faculty and University policies and procedures on student administration related matters ensure databases, extracts and regular reports issued are aligned with business needs and established procedures to include comprehensive records of new and/or amended agreements initiate, develop and maintain professional, productive and positive relationships with faculty administrative staff, academics and other internal stakeholders to enable effective negotiation, process improvement and issues resolution in the management of courses and unit of study related matters mentor, support and train new and existing staff. About you extensive experience in handling enquiries and the demonstrated provision of excellent customer service skills in a strong customer service environment well-developed interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team working knowledge of University reporting systems, records management systems excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills and have empathy and discretion in dealing with day-to-day operational matters strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement and ability to prioritize workload during busy periods ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures excellent technical and computer skills Sponsorship / work rights for Australia You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
