Their portfolio spans multi-residential, and mixed-use sectors. They are currently seeking a Design Manager to lead and oversee multiple projects of varying typologies, across various stages from development to project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Advise on site acquisitions and land use potential, working closely with the development team to assess feasibility and yield. Create and oversee architectural conceptual briefs in alignment with project vision and commercial objectives. Manage the procurement and coordination of external design consultants, ensuring scope and deliverables meet expectations. Chair design coordination meetings, drive outcomes, and ensure timely progress across all design phases. Oversee all phases of the design process from initial concept through to construction handover. Review and coordinate design documentation to ensure alignment with construction requirements and cost plans. Manage handover of projects to the delivery team with clear design intent and aligned budgets. Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, authorities, and internal stakeholders to resolve design and compliance challenges. Ensure design documentation supports constructability, cost-effectiveness, and project timeline goals. Support variance analysis between forecasted and actual construction costs. What You’ll Bring: A degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline. Approximately 10 years’ experience in the property and construction industry, with a strong background in large-scale multi-residential and commercial developments. Proven ability to drive design strategy across multiple concurrent projects with limited oversight. Strong technical understanding of construction methodologies and documentation across disciplines. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills. Full Australian working rights.
