Architecture & Interior Design Landscape Architect Sydney Permanent / Full Time My client is a globally recognised design practice with a focus on creating transformative spaces for community. With a portfolio of high-impact projects across cities and continents, the studio brings together urban design, masterplanning, architecture, and strategy to reimagine how people experience place. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Urban Designer & Masterplanner to contribute to ambitious, large-scale projects. Role As an Urban Designer you will work across a range of precinct and city-shaping projects. From concept design through to strategic frameworks, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to craft environments that are inclusive, adaptable, and resilient. You’ll bring a future-focused mindset to the role—balancing urban systems thinking with spatial storytelling to design places that support community, sustainability, and identity. Key Responsibilities Lead and contribute to the design and development of masterplans and urban strategies Develop conceptual frameworks and spatial layouts for precincts, campuses, and large-scale public realms Collaborate with planners, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders across all project stages Translate community needs, environmental goals, and commercial drivers into strong, cohesive design responses Prepare and present high-quality visualisations, diagrams, and reports to communicate design intent Engage with evolving urban trends, from mobility and density to sustainability and activation What We’re Looking For Tertiary qualification in Urban Design, Architecture, or Urban Planning 4–8 years’ experience in urban design and/or masterplanning Strong conceptual thinking and an ability to articulate design narratives A portfolio demonstrating creative, large-scale urban design work Proficiency in design tools such as Rhino, Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, and/or GIS Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills Strategic mindset with an appreciation for the economic, environmental, and social layers of place Full working rights in Australia Why This Role?
