Axioniq are looking for a hands-on, qualified and experienced HSE Administrator to join their Safety Team in regional Victoria. Reporting to the HSE Manager and working with a team of safety professional across two sites in and around Shepparton/Benalla, this will be a a hands-on operational role. Our client is global Tier 1 EPC contractor, with expertise in renewables, energy and the power transmission sector. About the Role: Support the safety advisors in their functions Facilitate onboarding of contractors and personnel Ensure compliance with legislated safety and training requirements, and company and client safety and training standards Actively promote a Zero Harm environment in line with company vision & core values Coordinate safety programs to fulfil contractual obligations Maintain relevant safety registers, including the project training matrix Conduct inspections & audits ensuring compliance to both company and client systems Facilitate training and inductions (paper and digital formats) Coordination and delivery of toolbox and pre-start meetings, as required, from time to time Accident/Incident Investigation & Reporting (depending on qualifications) Review & development of risk assessments (depending on qualifications) Review and development of site specific safe operating procedures Provide regular WHS statistical reports to the management team; provide coaching, mentoring and technical guidance Ensure Records are maintained and compliant in line with WHS legislation About you: Solid experience Hammertech software Cert IV in WHS (preferred but not essential) Strong knowledge of legislative WHS requirements 2 years experience in the construction and civil industries in a similar role Experience developing safety programs Client relations Excellent communication and team collaboration skills at all levels A can-do team player attitude - as there will be a lot of moving parts, and a flexible mind set will be the real strength you bring to the table. The role is offered on a full-time contract basis; thus the duration is project dependent, and most likely in the order of 6 to 7 months at this stage, although could be longer. We are looking for an ASAP start. The roster is Monday to Friday, with the construction sites located just out of Shepparton and Benalla. It's anticipated tat you would be based at Shepparton, but may need to drive to the other site from time to time. Ideally you will be currently based in the Shepparton region, although Melbourne or out suburbs candidates may still apply. Only successful candidates will be contacted.
