About the Role: Located on the 77th floor of the Gold Coast’s Q1 building, SkyPoint Bistro Bar serves delightful breakfasts and all-day café-style dining, while our events team delivers exceptional experiences for plated dining, cocktail, and canapé events. As a qualified chef, you day will look like this: Preparing a variety of fresh and innovative dishes in a high-volume environment. Working closely with a team to deliver consistently excellent food and guest experiences. Follow and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in line with HACCP. For your application to be considered you should: Have a strong background across, functions, a la carte service and/or café style service; Confident with high-volume food preparation and presentation; Qualified Cert III in Commercial Cookery; Calm under pressure, with a positive and reliable attitude; A team player with strong communication and attention to detail; Flexible with availability including ability to work a range of shifts including weekends, mornings and evenings; Physically fit for the demands of a busy kitchen; Knowledgeable in HACCP principles and food safety best practices.
