This part-time role is 21 hours per week, preferably spread across 5 days. The Role As the Finance and Administration Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of financial and administrative processes for this small office. Reporting directly to the Finance and Office Manager, you will be responsible for a mix of finance support, research support, office coordination, and administration support for the CEO. Key responsibilities include: Preparing and processing accounts payable and receivable Coordinating monthly payroll for internal staff Reconciling bank statements and credit cards, assisting with project accounting reconciliations Supporting the remote working Communications team Supporting RD&E team through monthly secretariat services incl. minutes Managing reception duties, procurement and general office support Supporting the organisation of meetings for the CEO, team and board including travel bookings Ad-hoc minutes as required Input into ACT Health and Well-being initiatives The Ideal Person You’ll bring a proactive, can-do attitude and experience in an administrative or finance support role. You don’t need to have all the answers from day one, but you should be someone who’s happy to take initiative and get up to speed quickly. You will have: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite incl. PowerPoint Strong organisation, attention to detail and time management skills A professional, reliable, and self-directed approach to work Maturity and the ability to exercise good judgement Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Be comfortable working independently in a front-of-office environment Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is desirable, but not essential – training will be provided for the right person who’s eager to learn.
