About the role An In-Home Massage Therapist provides professional therapeutic and relaxation massage services to clients in their homes. The therapist customizes treatments based on individual needs, helps alleviate pain and stress, and ensures a comfortable and professional experience in a home setting. They will act as a pillar for professional development within the practice and will actively seek to enhance the practices, procedures and protocols within the Allied Health Team. Travel to clients’ homes with necessary massage equipment (massage table, oils, linens, etc.). Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, and other therapeutic modalities. Assess client needs, medical history, and preferences to tailor each session. Educate clients on the benefits of massage and recommend self-care techniques. Maintain a professional and hygienic setup, ensuring a relaxing environment for clients. Manage appointment scheduling, client records. Uphold client confidentiality, safety, and ethical standards. Adhere to all state licensing requirements and professional regulations. About You Certified and licensed as required by state regulations. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques. Excellent communication, professionalism, and customer service skills. Ability to transport and set up massage equipment in different home environments. Self-motivated with strong time management and business skills. Physical stamina to perform multiple massage sessions per day. Travel-based role; must be comfortable working in various home environments.
