Domain Governance and Administration Officer — Russell, North Canberra

The key duties of the position include The Role The Directorate of Domain Governance, Analysis and Reporting (DGAR) is seeking a pro-active Governance and Administration Officer who is experienced in the area of governance and providing secretariat coordination services to numerous domain-level committees. The DGAR is part of Maritime Domain Support Branch (MDSB) within Navy Capability Division (NCD). The MDSB supports the Head of Navy Capability to establish requirements for future maritime capability. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to building of governance frameworks to support the functioning of decision making at domain, program, and project levels. You will actively support the implementation of such frameworks using your knowledge and experience in development and implementation of governance-related policies, procedures and processes. You will work in a dynamic team and be responsible for providing secretariat support to various high-level meetings where key decisions are being made, including: Maintaining the schedules and Terms of References. Coordinating meetings by tracking attendance and collating/preparing agendas and meeting materials. Recording minutes and actions, followed by revision with relevant stakeholders to ensure completeness and accuracy of the meeting records. Distributing the meeting records and maintaining proper documentation. Working across the MDSB, you will provide guidance on Maritime Domain governance policies and processes, maintain corporate records, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders. As the MDSB evolves to provide a greater variety of support services in response to the changing requirements and new requests of different stakeholders, you will undertake other duties as directed by the leadership team to ensure the accomplishment of the branch's mission and goals. About our Team Working in the Directorate of Governance, Analysis and Reporting, Maritime Domain Support Branch (MDSB) within Navy Capability Division, our team are responsible for: Domain governance, including but not limited to the secretariat for the Maritime Domain Governance Board (MDGB). Domain risk and assurance including Maritime Domain Gaps, Risks, Issues, and Opportunities (GRIOs). Data analytics and visualisation capability for Navy Capability Division, including performance analysis and reporting.
