About the Business Unit: The Corrections Victoria Learning & Capability Team delivers learning & development services, manages specialised projects and provides consultancy services to Corrections Victoria (CV). The team is responsible for specified training for CV prison staff including the prison officer pre-service training, leadership development and delivery of the DJCS Registered Training Organisation's (RTO) services. As part of our consultancy role, we coordinate and provide support to prison Workforce Development Supervisors and workplace trainers and assessors. About the Role: The Program Administrator is required to liaise with the Learning and Capability Team, Program Administrators and the DJCS RTO Team. Some of your duties will include: * Conducting enrolments, assessments and promote successful completion the Certificate III in Correctional Practice (Adult Custodial) qualification * Conducting Prison Officer Preservice Inductions and LLN assessments * Reporting and recording prison training activity to measure effectiveness of the training The role will be required to support a range of functions including utilisation of the DJCS student management system (VETtrak) and supporting learners to ensure successful completion of the Certificate III in Correctional Practice (Adult Custodial) qualification. Although the position is Melbourne based, there is a requirement to travel to Metro and Regional prison locations, requiring overnight stays when necessary. About You: As our ideal candidate, you will possess: * Proficiency in the use of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint. * Experience in using student management systems (desirable) * Experience in the administration of training and assessment services that comply with Vocational Education and Training [VET] standards and VRQA guidelines. Qualifications/Requirements: * A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (essential) * Certificate III in Correctional Practice (Adult Custodial) (highly desirable) * A current Victorian driver's licence (essential).
