We’re excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Supply Chain Administrator to join our Supply Chain team on a full-time basis. Based at our Carrum Downs office and reporting to the Lead Coordinator – Procurement, this entry-level role is ideal for someone with little or no prior experience in supply chain who is looking to break into the industry. The position is responsible for: Support the Lead Coordinator – Procurement with administration of inventory management from purchasing to inwards goods, receipting for internal business units and the retail function including creating and updating items in our ERP system. Maintain accurate and timely records and provide reporting as required including for logistical activities and retail stock and equipment. Maintain sound working relationships with vendors to ensure responsive service and timely resolution of all issues. Maintain ongoing communication and respond to any questions related to current or prior purchases. Receive and validate incoming requests from internal/external customers to support procurement process. Prepare and place purchase orders on suppliers upon receiving departmental expense approval. Follow up with suppliers on open order status to ensure purchase orders are being actioned and delivered on time. Actively ensure accurate prices exist for all SKU’s within the business, this involves ensuring they are setup, maintained and approved. Supporting and maintaining retail & procurement contractual requirements for third party contracts. Who are you? You have previous experience in customer service or in an administrative role within a warehouse or logistics environment. You are confident using computer systems, with skills ranging from data entry to reports. You have experience working independently in environments that demand self-motivation, strong attention to detail, effective problem-solving, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You either hold or are eligible to obtain a valid Working with Children Check. You hold a current driver’s licence. Why join us?
